There’s no better feeling than getting lost in a book, be it fiction or non fiction and it’s a greater feeling when you can get lost in a good book that helps you as a person. There are so many books out there and i understand some books may not be everybody’s cup of tea but i have listed a few of them for you to read if you are either looking to start the new year well financially, if you are looking to better your self esteem or just love yourself ..some more because why not?
This is one of those book most of us women will relate to a lot in more ways than one from the struggles of the main character or the friends. Maybe it’s the fact that it was written by an african author or maybe because everything hits so close to home on almost each page you read. This book teaches you SO much to do with financing from how to manage your money, to how to invest, how to not blow your salary on a new bag to how to buy that same bag just when the time is right and more. It’s the type of book you will need a notebook and a pen because after each chapter there’s a ” Smart Money Lesson” that can help you better your finances. I highly recommend this book to every woman, share this book and this post with your girls and sisters. Unfortunately for now you can get it on kindle only but if many of you want a hard copy of this book let me know i might talk to the author and maybe supply them to you guys 🙂
Quoting Lilly Singh’s words ” A bawse is someone who excels in both personal and professional settings, exudes confidence, turn heads, gets hurt efficiently, communicates effectively and hustles relentlessly. So this book is exactly that, whether you are looking to conquer a few aspects (or all) of your life then this book is for you.
Okay who doesn’t love herself some Gabrielle Union? The beautiful, never aging, funny, smart and elegant lady that she is. I mean unless when she is acting like a total mess on being mary jane sometimes.
I was abit skeptical to add this book here but i said
fuck eff it 😉 and kept it on the list because why not? I believe people have different perspectives in life and maybe this book will be eye opening for you or just total bullshit. All i can say is it’s an interesting read, It talks a lot about men and relationships and one too many times you will read a few pages that you can relate to the stupidity you have done before, that you’d want to close the book and evaluate all the men that have been in your life. This book is for anyone who is open minded, wants to have a bigger understanding on men and well maybe learn a few tricks on how to scam a man ( joking).
